Page to Stage: Writer's Theatre Camp

Does your camper have a big imagination and a story to tell? In this exciting, week-long begginers writer's workshop, students will discover what it takes to create an original play—from the very first idea to a live performance.

Throughout the week, campers will:

- Strengthen their creative writing skills through guided exercises and prompts

- Explore storytelling and character development, building dynamic worlds and memorable roles

- Learn the basics of script analysis to better understand how great plays are structured

- Collaborate with peers to write, cast, direct, and perform original short plays

Campers will experiment with world building, dialogue writing, and plot development while receiving supportive feedback from instructors and fellow writers. As their scripts take shape, they will step into the roles of theatre-makers, bringing their words from page to stage.

At the end of the week, students will showcase their original works in a performance for family and friends, celebrating their creativity, teamwork, and newly developed storytelling skills.
